Message of the Founder
“Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith Azad Jammu and Kashmir is a movement for the establishment of Islam. It was founded by the group’s leader, Maulana Anwar Ruknuddin.on September 1, 1988, in the land of Kashmir. What began with 30 people and limited resources has now grown to millions. Its influence is felt not only in Kashmir but across the world.
To adopt Islam as a complete code of life, Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith Azad Jammu and Kashmir presents the true picture of Islam to the people, highlighting the importance of following Islamic teachings in all aspects of life. The group is continually striving to prepare individuals of character and capability, who are not only responsible citizens but also equipped with righteousness and competence. These individuals are committed to promoting a democratic political system, a just economic system, protecting human rights, and providing services to the citizens of Azad Kashmir, irrespective of religion, sect, language, or region.
The group’s contributions in the struggle for the Islamic system in Kashmir, the movement for the finality of Prophethood, the drafting and approval of Pakistan’s constitution, the unity of the Muslim Ummah, and humanitarian services are widely recognized. Its role in protecting the ideological and geographical borders of the country, promoting Islamic values, and striving for the implementation of the Islamic way of life, with the goal of making Azad Kashmir an Islamic welfare state, has been significant.
The current leadership, under the guidance of Amir Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Professor Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, and Nazim-e-Ala Muhammad Amin Butt, is actively working to fulfill these objectives in Kashmir
